Project Sudz natural spray concentrate at hotspots,

Does your dog suffer from hot spots? Then the natural spray in concentrate from Project Sudz can offer a solution! By combining a number of powerful, natural ingredients, a powerful weapon is created against these annoying spots in the dog's coat.

What is a hot spot in dogs?

Hot spot in dogs, also known as pyotraumatic dermatitis, is a moist area in the coat, characterized by bright red skin covered in pus. It is a severe, itchy condition that can develop within hours from scratching or biting. Dogs often become listless and may develop a fever. Not nice!

How can the spray help with this?

By combining some powerful natural ingredients, Project Sudz has developed a powerful weapon against these annoying hot spots in dogs. We will list them for you, with their active superpowers:

  1. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is known for its antimicrobial properties and can help fight bacteria and fungi that can cause hot spots. It can also help soothe the inflammation and itching associated with hot spots.
  2. Niaouli Essential Oil: Niaouli oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation and prevent infection in hot spots.
  3. Organic Neem Oil: Neem oil is known for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can help fight bacteria and fungi that cause hot spots, while also helping to soothe the skin.
  4. Organic Aloe: Aloe vera is known for its soothing and healing properties for the skin. It can help reduce inflammation, redness, and itching associated with hot spots while promoting skin healing.
  5. Soap Bark: Soap bark has cleansing and soothing properties, which can help cleanse the hot spot and reduce irritation.

Why should I choose an apple cider vinegar based spray?

Why is apple cider vinegar so great? Well, it really has a multitude of benefits, but for now, let’s just talk about the topical uses. The main reason we at Project Sudz love and use apple cider vinegar (ACV) in our shampoos is to help itchy pets.

Apple cider vinegar has natural antifungal and antimicrobial properties, which help to relieve hot spots and yeast infections. Project Sudz uses organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar combined with a vinegar “mother,” a substance that helps to harness the beneficial and healthy bacteria. I know you’re probably thinking, “Bacteria?! Ugh, that sounds like something I don’t want on my skin?” Well, our skin and that of our pets (and gut) are teeming with bacteria, a microbial community or normal flora. It’s like a community of good bacteria working together to keep us safe and healthy. Apple cider vinegar helps to preserve the good bacteria and prevent the bad bacteria, reducing itching and infections.

How does it work? What is the best way to use the spray?

120 ml of concentrate makes 360 ml of spray. Fill a 360 ml or larger reusable spray bottle with concentrate and add 240 ml of water. Spray the sensitive area and massage gently. Never use the spray undiluted or on open wounds!

About Project Sudz,

Project Sudz aims to provide you and your family - especially your sometimes itchy and smelly furry friends - with the best products possible. Their mission is to achieve this with sustainable packaging, without blowing your entire budget, and without contributing to the huge amount of plastic waste you see in the mass market. It's quite a challenge, but they've come up with a solution!

To achieve these goals, Project Sudz decided to reduce the size of their packaging by removing water from products such as their bar shampoo, home and pet sprays. This way, they don’t have to ship water all over the world and we reduce the amount of single-use plastic bottles that end up in the trash. That’s why all Project Sudz products are concentrated and you can make them yourself with water from your own tap. Project Sudz only uses natural materials for their care products and trust us, it smells just as good ;) Curious about the entire vision of Project Sudz? You can find it here on their own website .
