What does “Save the Leftovers” actually mean?

In the food world – including that of our dogs – it often happens that products: have a shorter shelf life (but are still perfect to use!), have old packaging due to rebranding, have slight damage to the outside of the packaging or simply have too much in stock due to a wrong estimate. Normally, these products often disappear as unsold surplus. But that's a shame! Because the content is still of top quality. That's why we have joined forces with our suppliers and opted for a circular approach: less waste, more wagging tails. This is how: Save the Leftovers – a place for smart sniffers and conscious owners.

They always come with a clear explanation of the status (best before date, packaging, etc.), and are carefully checked by our team - because only the best leftovers deserve a second chance. Think of broth with only a month left in its shelf life, or a supplement with an old label. That's perfectly fine, as long as you use them as indicated. You will never find products here whose best before date has already passed.
